How to play Spider Solitaire

Stack cards in descending order in any suit, but only same-suit sequences move together. Complete a king-to-ace run in one suit to clear it from the table. When you run out of moves, deal a new row from the stock — every column must be filled first.

Undo, hints, and statistics

Unlimited undo lets you explore risky lines, the hint button finds moves you missed, and per-difficulty statistics track your wins, best times, and streaks across sessions.

How to Play — Step by Step

1. Choose your difficulty in the gear menu: 1 suit to learn, 2 suits classic, 4 suits expert.
2. Ten columns are dealt from two full decks; build downward on any card of one-higher rank, regardless of suit.
3. Only cards in same-suit descending sequence move together — mixed stacks move one card at a time.
4. Empty columns accept any card or sequence, and are your most powerful tool for rearranging.
5. When you're out of moves, click the stock to deal a new row — every column must hold at least one card first.
6. Complete a King-to-Ace run in a single suit to clear it to a foundation slot; clear all eight runs to win.

Strategy Tips

Build sequences in the same suit whenever possible — only same-suit runs move as a unit. Work to empty a column early, since an empty column is the most flexible space on the board. Uncover face-down cards before dealing a new row, and avoid dealing from the stock until you've exhausted your moves.
